It feels like years!

But in reality, there's one more egg laid at the same time as Shelbie and Florence - this one is now 70 days old. A bit overdue but I'm still hopeful especially now that Florence has just hatched.

Then, we've got 3 more which are 53 days old and then a final 2 which are 36 days old.

There are the original 2 as well which were due at Christmas but I'm 99.9% sure that nothing will happen with these now - they are 84 days old now......

She laid 10 eggs altogether with the last 2 laid on 13th December. I was begining to think at that point I'd inadvertantly turned her into some kind of 'battery tortoise'

But, thankfully, everything has gone back to normal now - basking, eating, basking, sleeping - the usual routine

And, you were definitely right about the cuttlefish and I had forgotten about it for the babies despite having 3 huge pieces in for the older ones - oops!

Wink

I would candle your 70 day old egg and see whats going on. If it looks empty in appearance then it could mean the baby is on the way. There's still time for it to hatch though.

Egg 4 has pipped this morning - at last! 74 days since it was laid.

You were right Helen, there was still time

I had all but given up on this one - it's 13 days since Shelbie hatched and the eggs were laid at the same time. I did try to candle it but it just looked 'dark' with a small air space (?) at the top.

Another sleepless night on the way - lol
