spur-thigh tortoise for rehoming
HI 18 months ago my ex mother in law found this tortoise in her garden, but after contacting vets and putting adverts up no one claimed him, she could not look after him so I took him on. We think he is about 3 years old my vet has told me he is a spur- thigh although I always thought he is a horsfield. I can no longer look after him and feel he needs a home with someone with experience and where he can have accsess to a garden. If any one is interested please contact me and I will give you as much detail about him as possible .

It would help if you could post a picture Claire, so we can figure out what you have.

Hi all,
Sorry I have not got back to anyone I did not think that my post was put on as got an email saying that I was not allowed to. Anyway thanks for all trying to help me and just to let you all know I have it confirmed that my tort is a spur-thigh and I have found a home for him he is going to live with two other spur-thigh who are very well looked after, hopefully he will get on, I am taking him down south in October, if for any reason he does not get on there, then I shall post on here again. Many thanks for replying Claire (north Yorkshire) |
