One of my horsfields Tilly spent most of last summer dug in
the ground and I never saw him for 2months when he did surface I brought him in with Tiny and then put them in the fridge.Tilly never went to sleep and I took him out again. I took Tiny out 2 weeks ago and he's fine eating and fit,but Tilly has started to sleep most of the day not eating could I put him in the fridge for a while untill the weather is better then put him outside.

You need to get your horsfield to the vets as soon as possible.

I have to agree with Sandy, digging down for 2 months in the summer certainly isn't good, and then failed attempts of hibernation.
I would not try to hibernate now as still showing poor signs of activity and get to vet A.S.A.P |

which wasn't much of a summer he stsrted eating straight away and has continued to do so all winter could he not have his summer/winters round the wrong way after our very cold summer.
