hellooooooo! just want to ask...
Why,did my hermans tort wag his tail from side to side when he was sat in his food bowl?!! i am just abit puzzled! never noticed this before! he is still very small,he fits in your palm. if any one knows why,please let me know. Cheers

Sometimes that's it they are doing a wee or whatever. He will feel the urge to go to the loo if he's eating and drinking.
The other time that they wag about is to reconise if other tortoises are male or female |

Yeah my Herman does this usually before he does a wee. It's cute though and I was very shocked when I first saw him do it. Lol.
