Thanks for the warning i think i will keep my hatching in rabbit cage outside (with hole for drainage!!) until they big enough to go in my new enclosure next year!

i would think it spent half this time under ground, and yes i do have plenty of weeds growing in my enclosures all my tortoise food comes from my garden i have over 1 acre planted with weeds enough to feed 53 tortoises

nice to hear from you kellymarie, i never thought about it before but i gess i am happy ive jfinished work last year aged 47 to look after my tortoise collection fulltime, happy days
