Perhaps you could give me some advice on my Browns as since they have come back inside and to a lesser extent last spring my largest female has become very aggressive to the male in that she constantly rams him and tips him on his side and pushes him really hard into the wall and anything else that gets in the way. Other than separating them have you any other ideas what to do or why she is doing it? He is getting pretty stressed by the whole thing. She completely ignores the other two females is she just telling him to push off?

Spoke to Dillon who co owns the browns with me. He agrees that it is either aggression due to wanting more space or a need to lay or be mated.

Please let us know what you conclude.

Many thanks for your reply and the advice. She certainly seems heavy so will do as you suggest and put some orchid bark and leaves into her bit of the pen and see what she makes of it! Will let you know what happens.
