no Xenical/Orlistat has been around for years, it can have some not very nice side effects if theres a lot of fat in a meal so it makes you more aware of whats on your plate, I take one 3 times a day with a meal and it stops about 1/3 of the fat content in the meal from being absorbed. Anyway whatever it does its working and I've not lost weight like this for years I really hope it carries on, it does help having a very good doctor, you can take it for as long as it continues to work there's no time limit. I beleive you can now buy it over the counter but that would be a costly way of getting it and its sold under a different name.

Sorry to hear that Alan. My eldest son has coeliac disease and ulcerative colitis, poor lad. So far he's managing on pentasa and hasn't needed steroids. Hope yours is under control. I dread flares for him
He's the opposite though as both diseases really knocked his growth and he's tall and skinny. Hoping he'll fill out a bit as he eats like a horse, or maybe I should say eats like a tort, as all four of my torts are right piggies!
