Feeling a bit Christmasy
I don't know why, I don't normally feel like this so early. But I can't seem to help it, I've even started listening to my Michael Buble Christmas album, which I would normally not allow until December 1st. Half the Christmas shopping is wrapped and has been delivered. I can only hope I won't peak to soon, and Christmas will be a big disappointment.

I've been wrapping and writing my Christmas cards too Suze. I've not reached for the Christmas CDs yet but the kids have been playing Christmas carols and songs on the piano. I've also been enjoying the start of the Christmas tv adverts - can't wait for the Coca Cola lorry to come on. That's when Christmas really arrives.
I've been eyeing up light-up twigs for ages and ages but we don't have anywhere to put them as a focal point in the lounge as all the possible places don't have a spare socket. My hubby came home with some battery-operated ones last night, so I was a very happy lady. They looked beautiful all lit up on the hearth and it felt a bit Christmassy. Enjoy the build-up. I always love the anticipation and Christmas Eve more than the big day itself.

Oh thank goodness it's not just me. I enjoy the build up and Christmas Eve too, more than Christmas Day. I like the sound of your light up twigs, I've been eyeing up artificial Christmas trees, yes I know it's not the same as the real thing , but we've got fed up of the cost of real ones and the mess, sooooo I'm going to invest in a really good fake one, I'll spend a bit on it , but in about 4 years we would have spent that much on real ones. Yep the coke adds, love them.

Most of my family's birthdays are in November and one of my friends baby is due in November as well, so Christmas will have to start from December for me x

I'm not feeling it at all, and don't think I will this year. I'll still put a tree up though..once I'm back in my own home. I did (do) love my tree that I bought last year. xx

I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year, I have a little grandson this year, he will be 11 1/2 months old at Christmas so he will understand most of it..

Quote:
The old tree we had became the kids tree and they used to have it up in the kitchen but with six tort tables in there now, this year there's no room, so it's going up in their log cabin instead.
