Not silly at all! It is an achievement and a very lovely one. I can understand how this time you feel a different sort of responsibility as the hatchling will be going to a new home. Fingers crossed all will go well and at least you can look after the hatchling for a little while before it goes off to your friend.

I was utterly enthralled with the whole process when I hatched Chester. It was terrifying too and I didn't realise how stressed I'd get about one little egg, but he was certainly worth it.

Tortoises looking really good Emma. Very nice colours and patterns.
Hens and GPs look great too but I know nothing about them!
I'm a bit jealous - the weather here has been terrible for the past 4 days.

They all have their own 'conservatory', Alan.
I can't take the credit for it though. I just tell hubby what I want and he makes it for me.
