Here are some piccies. I have been told that the lightness in her shell shows that she has not had a good diet previously but hopefully I am improving that already and have bought seeds to grow more. I have also ordered some of the hemp bedding as I understand that is better for her. As well as giving calcium supplements is it advised to also give vitamin supplements? Will that improve her shell? The bridge she is on is new today - she had great fun going over and round it over and over again. Do you think the set up is OK? |

Hi, looks like she is having fun digging and hiding.
The only thing I have for her outside yet if a metal pen thing - not great I know. I do let her have a run around the whole garden when I'm around to make sure she doesn't escape! Outside play area is next on my list for her now. Hope it stays dry tomorrow for your planting! |

Hi cookie glad I could help with the tin foil
She looks like she is enjoying her new home, horsfields are lovely torts very inquisitive . They are great escape artists though, so becareful when she is outside and when building the outdoor enclosure as they are great diggers and climbers She does need vits on her diet, I use nutrobol (have a look on the sw shop) twice a week, though some use it more often
