Tabitha: Clara and Isabelle: Harriet: Oliver Oscar It can be fun trying to find them.

They are all looking beautiful Emma. Loving their shade. Mine are the same, seeking out nice cool damp areas to have a nap.

Thanks Wendy. It's nice just watching them for a while and it amazes me how some completely bury themselves with not even a peep of shell to be seen. Esme and Arabella are very good at that!

My 2 never bury themselves. They like a plant pot, lazy torts I've got I think.

Good weather? What's that? Feels like there hasn't been a nice day here forever. I can't even remember when my poor torts last got outside!
Moan over. Your torts are looking lovely Emma. It's so nice to see them out in the sun. I especially like the picture of Clara ans Isobella with their big pot. |

I'm hoping for lots of warm sunny days to come, especially as once we hit the solstice the days will start getting shorter again. It feels as if summer is only just arriving. Hoping that the sun puts its hat on in Scotland for you very soon. If it's any consolation the forecast is rubbish for Devon tomorrow.

I'm hoping the good weather is just holding off for the school holidays. Only one week and four days to go! Yippee!

I agree with Wyannis. We're not in need of any shade plants here in the west of scotland because there has been no sunshine for the past week. Zero minutes of sunshine per day.
Last week we had 3 nice days and since then it's been cloud, dark cloud, light cloud (rarely) or light rain (often). Yesterday I had the central heating on. Not for tortoises but for me.
