heat lamps
Hi I was just wondering Wat would happen if the heat got to hot. I no it should b 32 to 35 but at the moment it is 38 to 40. I only have a sixty Wat bulb in there and can't get it any higher cos of where it is. Any ideas pls

Short term I expect torty would just bury down and hide away if it got too hot for him. It depends on how big your enclosure is and how old your tort it. Hatchlings can poss overheat easily, they can be a bit delicate. Could you reduce the temp of the room torty's in? That should bring the basking spot down

It's 4 feet by a 1 and a half feet and I fink she is bout 3 years old. Is there any thing I could by to bring the heat down
