wrong link Lynne!!!

http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/aq...-fish/95130530

Lynne kindly shared this link with me regarding a musk turtle up for sale with "the whole package", if anyone is looking to get a musk turtle or re-home one please consider this one. it does not have the right setup at all as Lynne correctly spotted. i would love to take it on but i just cant take any more. I have messaged the seller explaining what the setup should be like and have advised them to re-home the turtle then sell the rest as a goldfish and tank package. also to pass on the information about musk turtle care that i provided. hopefully they will listen to me :/

if anyone wants advice about musk turtle care please ask and i'm willing to help, Louise

No, it's a plec I think, they stick to the glass and eat the algae. I've had quite a few assorted over the years. That will be the underside of the plec you are seeing

the one they are selling looks like it might just be a common type. they do get quite big, people make the mistake of thinking that because they eat algae they don't need fed anything else so they starve to death. lack of info on the part of the shops as often happens with torts as we know
