Redfoots
Hello guys, girls n torts.
I don not own a redfoot and don't know much about them, but I'd like to ask a question. As they prefer a hot humid condition are they better suited to a viv? I only ask 'cause my pal has one in a wee viv and she's panicing because he is getting too big for it and she isn't looking forward to shelling out a small fortune for a larger viv. Can they be housed in tables?

They can be housed in either, although it will be difficult to maintain humidity in a table. There is a user on RFUK called Volly Vivz that sells large vivariums for great prices

Thanks Ross, I'll pass that on to my pal. Cheers

We got our vivarium from Volley.
Its really well made. Because ours was for stars we did use a tube of aquarim sealent to seal the joints and the places it had been drilled to protect against the high humidity. But he accommodated our requests for extra vents. His price for the size of viv we got was good also. |
