Default 3 year old ibera's, sex???

My question on female incubation was a leading one. I have found a breeder that incubates at 32C, and has two 3 year olds left that are believed to be female. I was just wondering what were the expert opinions on them. What do people think?

Thanks in advance

Dave

All youngsters look like females so depending on size it may still be impossible to tell. These look huge for three year olds though, unless those are very small dandelions. Check the weight of them, a three year old would probably weigh around 100 grams max, preferably around 60gms

Here are two of my 3yr olds incubated for females , these two are clutch mates and abig difference in size, even though they are fed thesame (weeds only) one is a little big for its age and tiny overgrowth can just be seen

1 is 104g the other is 183g

Nice and smooth thought Darren. It may be me but the others looked rather lumpy. The ones we saw at the sanctuary in Turkey were a lot smaller either way

Sue good diet proper care and hiberbnation from year one outdoor life through the summer this is all essential for good clean growth as you know , but been rather busy of a late and let things lapse a tad i.e not been keeping an eye on weights so think the larger" Holly" has excelled in growth too much but this will be certainy checked and kept in trim soon she will be out all summer were she will forage for herself .
She wasn't hibernated till late either as the temps were to warm so next season its a fridge for them both.

thanks all, lovely torts darren, amazing how two from the same clutch could look so different in colouring and size.

Regarding the two females i posted, i think its probably best i wait untill i get the oppurtunity for two older females, so i can be certain of their sex.

Thanks again

Dave
