Hello newbie to forum and tortoises
Hello all
I'm hoping to be getting myself my first tortoise , I have been waiting for 20 years but I am finally buying my first house with a garden and I feel now is the time to live the dream! Saying this we haven't moved yet and I haven't arranged where I'll be getting this new family member from but theres nothing like a bit of good preparation. I'm in the West Midlands so if anybody knows of any good tortoise breeders in the area let me know, I don't mind going on a waiting list and a breeder who checks out the new accomodation would be good as I think our garden will need a bit of tortoise-proofing. I've got my eye on the Hermann's breed, partly because I have been told they are a good hardy breed to keep and also because they were the ones I remember seeing as a child. I'm going to have a good look through the forum and website but I'm sure you'll hear more from me, I have lots of questions! |

Hi
Welcome to SW forum. If you email me I can give the name of a breeder. You might have to go on her waiting list but she does breed Hermanns. Or you could look on here at the list of breeders. Enjoy the forum.
