bobby is my only "problem" tortoise there seems to be something new going wrong every few months with her today while bathing her she opened her mouth very wide and made a sneezing noise. any idea what this is and also what causes it? thank you. alice.

Hi Alice. Is it possible she simply got some water in her nose whilst in the bath and was simply blowing it out? Mine have done this a couple of times. I would keep a close eye on her and see if she does it again on 'dry land'.

thank you for your replpys.
i had only just put bobby in the bath so she hadn't had the chance to put her head near the water when she did it, so no chance of water going up her nose. i tried opening her mouth to see if something was stuck but she still wont let me. i hope it's just a normal noise so i will see how she goes, if i see any mucus or if she looses her appitite i will take her straight to the vets alice. x
