Default She has gone and laid 6 eggs

Hi, yesterday I set my tortoise shed with lots of soil for my 3 to dig in to keep them warmer now the weather is changing and they love it, so much so I went in this morning to check them out and there right under the ceramic heat bulb was Mrs T laying eggs in a shallow hole!!! She has now laid 6 sadly she broke one with her back foot as she pushed it out. When she had finished I gave her a nice long warm bath she also drank and looked so relaxed bless her, I am not convinced she has laid them all, is it possible for her to lay more?.
I alas have no incubator so I have put the eggs in a pollerstyrene box which has 2 heat mats at the bottom and on top of them I have a good couple of inches of vermiculite. The eggs are numbered and dated and laid in the vermiculite. I will also put a wet sponge in there to create a humid atmosphere.
Sadly this is the best I can do unless anyone can help or have any further ideas. Will be glad to hear any ideas
thanks
Sue
PS can someone give me the correct temps and humidity level please

If she covered the hole Sue she was done laying eggs

Temperatures should be between 28 and 32C and humidity 70 to 80%.

Good luck with the eggs and your home-made incubator Sue. Fingers crossed you have some lovely fertile eggs there.

As long as the eggs are kept warm they should be ok.
