Amazing photos. They are so helpful for people to see the development of the tortoise. If I am ever luck enough to get eggs again I am going to keep an egg diary methinks!!

I am using a little led torch that cost £1 from my local chemist. It is just a cheap keyring torch but seems to work really well. Just goes to show that you dont always need the most expensive kit to get the job done!

Thanks very much for all the kind comments. I can't wait to post some pics of the hatchling that is in the photos ... Fingers crossed x

For those that are interested, here is an eggy update ....... The eggs are on day 56 now. Surely it can't be much longer, I will have no fingernails left! I don't know enough to visualise which bit is which or which way they are laying or anything, but they do look much bigger now.
