Default Twins...I think.

These are 13 day old box turtle eggs



Nice embryo.



Two nice embryos I think. Not a really clear picture but I can see two definiate eye spots with the naked eye.

Theres one embryo in the first pic and I think two in the second. Suppose I'll have to wait and see if they drift apart as the incubation progresses and they get bigger. Hopefully they're just sharing a yolk sac.

Thanks Dan. Wish I'd got a better picture, it looks like each has an independent blood supply.

I had a friend sucessfully incubate twin spotted turtles last year so we'll see.
