Gravid?
Daisy has been climbing everything that
can be, unsettled & digging holes for a couple of weeks. She has a nesting area Set up with heat over it and hopefully everything else she need (iv done my homework!) How long should I wait till I involve the vet?

I take it she has been digging holes everywhere but the nesting area? If she has a certain spot she seems to want to dig in, make that her nesting area by moving enough soil there so she can dig a nest.

She tried a few different spots but has
Dug in the nest area lots of times? Not sure What I'm doing wrong? It's dampened, not wet, It's 40degrees, it's quite deep, i feel I'm failing but don't quite understand why! Thank you for Reading this post and PLEASE how long do I wait? I have been sat up all night for a whole week, she diggs till 3am then eats & goes to sleep, I then have 4 hours till I go to work, which I can't sleep cos I'm fretting Over her, when I do sleep I dream of her laying Eggs in to my hands x

But is the soil packed down so when she digs it holds together? How deep is the soil? How big is she and what is she?

Is she alone or with the male? How often do you check on her and does she see you when you do? Does she seem to leave the nest soon after you check on her? The soil should be at least 8 inches deep and 10 would be even better.

She is with a male who sleeps a lot, the area is over 15 inch deep, check her twice aday, when she is fed or/& bathed, she is in the lounge so can see/hear us
Tho we keep the lounge light off and are as quiet as possible ( with a 10 Year old) she starts to digg after 8 pm when it's all quiet

Have you watched her on the nest? Does it look like she is straining?
