As far as im aware there is no-one in the uk breeding diamond backs and all the cb,s over here are imported .
Go to Hamm show in march and you should some up dirt cheap and more than likely from a breeder too.

I have a pair of Diamondbacks which I got as hatchlings (for about£15) from the PRAS (Portsmouth) show about a decade ago. Lovely animals, very 'friendly' (ie they try to jump out of the water for food) and popular with visitors (or at least they are more popular than my Common and Alligator Snappers!). I've always kept them in brackish water, using a little table salt. I have found them to be susceptable to skin problems usually caused by fighting 'courtship' behaviour, so I keep them separately now.

Sadly mine arent as pretty as those pictured!
