The top one does look like violet leaves to me and the second one looks like cow parsley.

So, I've worked out that not only am I rubbish at IDing weeds, I also can't grow them. Had to get my green-fingered Mum on board!

Any clue what this one is? And if my little Hermann tort can eat it.

I don't think any of the willow herb types are toxic, they are just not edible or the torts just ignore them anyway. loads are springing up in the garden just now

Thanks Alan.

I'm just trying to give my tort variety, as at the moment she only eats Romaine lettuce and dandelion heads.
I've also given her pansies, dandelion leaves, sticky weed, lambs lettuce, rocket, and watercress, but won't eat any of them. So wanted to give her more weed type foods. I thought I had plantain in my garden, but my Mum dug it up (she was trying to be helpful).
