Default bath time

Hi, just a quick question. I've had my Hermanns for less than a week and she is still getting used to her new environment. She seems to be sleeping a lot and when I am about to do her bath after work she is asleep. Should I wake her up? She is only 7 months old and I am aware they need baths everyday.

can you give her a bath in the morning before work,or at least give a good spraying down to provide some humidity.

She's asleep when I go to work aswell at the moment. Do I spray her or all the soil around her? (I spray daily to keep the top soil moist anyway)

My hatchling doesn't get out of bed till about 10.30 and sometimes go to bed at 5pm and if I've got contract work on some days, I don't see him before work or after, but fortunately the work is near home I can pop home lunchtime and give him a bath then, but as he is getting older (he is 9 months now) he is staying up till 6 so I can bath him when I get home

If it was me and i couldnt pop home lunchtimes I would get him up to give him a bath in the morning, and you can check his ok at the same time x

I would love to be able to do that, but I drive an hour to get to work. I've not done it today because she has buried herself under the ceramic plant pot, but I've given her bath all the other days this week. Once I've woken her up, gave her a bath she has a little wander then settles straight back to sleep. I feel bad, but I don't really have time in the morning (6am start is late for me) to bath her.

Just wondering what temps you have in your enclosure?
As long as you are bathing regularly, I wouldn't worry too much about missing the odd day.
What are the habits of your tortoise on the days you are at home?

34 under the lamp and around 18-20 around the rest of the enclosure. Have my heating on most of the day so it doesn't get too cold.
She tends to wake up around 10am then takes about 30-50mins to start walking round, she goes in and out of the lamp and generally walks around all day. Then finds a comfy place ( under the lamp, under the plant pot, in a hide, in her bedroom bit) and goes to sleep around 3:30-4pm. She does wake up during the night, as I've noticed she has moved in the morning.
I'm usually away working from 6:30-6:30, so sometimes wake her up to bath her and she quickly we settles down to sleep. Its still worrying me she isn't eating a lot, but she is 7months old and I've only had her 9 days.
Sorry for the ramble!
