Combined bulb
I know there are a few similar post on here but would like some opinions.
We currently use 160watT arcadia UVA, UVB and heat lamp, and it has been fine. but we are just wondering if there are any changes in the best quality brands for the combined bulb. we want to keep the same wattage and everything we just want to know opinions of best brands for this. Weve used Arcadia and Solar Glo in the past and started using Arcadia due to them being the best at the time. We are not hibernating her this year due to us not having a stable temp for her to hibernate in yet Any opinions?? Thanks |

Personally I prefer to use arcadia's T5 desert+ tubes for uvb and a separate halogen lamp for heat and additional light. It does mean more wires and setting up. But it works out cheaper in the end and the area covered by uvb is very much larger.
I don't think anyone has a better combined lamp than the arcadia in the 160 watt size.

I agree. I initzlly bought a combi light from arcadia and moved onto a uv tube and a separate high watt light bulb for heat and Petey seems to prefer this.
