Very Very Sad Day
Hi Guys after much thought i would like to give my lovely tortoise to a good home free with heaters enclosure light etc.
My son just dont give him the time he deserves. Dont get me wrong we took geofrey off a friend who didnt give him a good life at all but being dad i just dont have time to tend to him 100% as i know its a life long labour of love' I would love to build an outdoor enclosure but its just another job i dont have time for. I realise everyone will try and snap my hand off but trust me hes going to the best on this forum' so if you you can vouch for another member please do so he's a little gem and deserves a life like his native land could give him |

Oh that is a shame and a very hard decision to make!
Good luck finding the right home xx

Hi Darren
So sad to hear this, but it is wise to make the right decision for Geoffrey. As you say, you have already given him a better life. Good luck with re-homing him. I have a male tort so can't help you there. It may be helpful to say what County you are in as a starting point and perhaps a photo.

Good luck finding him a new home. I recall he's a Horsfield. Hopefully someone will be able to help out. Not me unfortunately as I only keep Hermanns but he's a lovely looking fella.

You could try the Tortoise Protection Group. They can help rehome him for you ☺
