That is so wrong - hard to believe that people still do this.

Not a great diet, take a cheap tin of Dog food.
82% water more or less found in the plant world
3-5% oil's and fat's, wrong fat's not sure on the oil's but would be found in plant's
7% protein not excessive but the wrong protein, animal or is it.
3% ash this is food in all living thing's.
0.3% fibre. very low.
Next is meat in a tin 4% very low, the rest is Derivitives of plant origin.
If your tort pinched some of your dog's food rarely it probably would'nt do it any harm.

My dog doesn't even eat that C**p. He has dried food (Hi Life) and veg. He even eats weeds, loves a dandelion and mallow leaf. Why would you want to feed that to a tortoise?

No don't feed it, just pointing out if it was a cheap tinned food what is actualy in it. Water and Cereal mainly, some past post's the tortoise has helped it self to the dog/cat food, as ment accidently won't kill them.
A couple of the tort's in the vid don't look that bad, one small one look's smooth but bloated, the one in the middle is a bit all over the place in the shell dept.

No Paul I wasn't saying you were advocating it, I was just saying no one in their right mind would feed a tort on that. my tort has eaten my dogs food by accident (well he did it deliberatly) and it gave him very loose poo the next day, very unpleasant.
