Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Again we see contrasting opinions, but great to hear them all. I will certainly give this decision some thought before I decide, but a few months before I will decide as I was only thinking of it as a winter 'stand by'.

Your the one pushing pellet's not me , i was interested in why you feed them !, and what the benefits are over feeding a natural diet , the facts i give are based on experiance not something i've read 5 mins before.

I refuse to enter into this childish behaviour. I'm only interested in discussing tortoises. I didn't address any of my posts to you tonight. I only told others what I did and posted a picture of my tortoise. I won't be responding to your posts again.

Yes, there are a ot of opinions out there. I've only tried (soberly) to give you an indication of what I do. I make no judgement of the way others do things. Being open minded is important.
