Default Formulated diets - your experience

Ok ok i know some people will not touch the stuff and i know others do. That is your choice

However i just wanted to know for people who use the diet trex, mazuri. natuzuri etc

What have you experienced using this diet?
I know ed has had great success smooth growth etc

I use mazuri for my red foots, about 3 times a week, when they are not getting fed weeds.
I have noticed my red foots being more active sexually (but this could be down to them settling in)
They are so heavy its untrue and the sub adults are growing very smooth, even old WC adults are growing- not sure if this is a good thing.
My reds just love the stuff they smell it in the air and come running.
My hatchling blind red foot loves the stuff and very easy for it to eat and is growing smooth.

Im hoping me adding this diet will produce healthier eggs with more hatchlings. I had 50 eggs last year old 8 hatched, i feel its due to not enough goodness in the egg.

I am using it sparingly now that it's colder outside and they can't graze like normally. My guys love it. I haven't used it long enough to see results yet. Ed definately has the better info on it.

Well i have only used mazuri and it was very difficult for me to get that.
I can supply other pellets but i have not tried them, plus i only use them for my red foots.

I would love to see a list of what these contain.

The ones i have seen don't look too appetising, do you have any ingredient and nutritional info ?

I have a question about the calcium/ phosphorus balance, I thought it should be at lest 2-1 but preferably 5-1.

But looking at those nutritional analysis, at the very best its going to be 2-1 at worse little better than 1-1.

Surely this could lead to potential problems if it is the only food source?
