Default sexing a horsfield

Alfred is 8cm long and about 18 mths to 2 yrs, can anyone tell me if Alfred is a he or she? Many thanks Cre

Juts to let you know I ave tried to work it out myself looking at the threads on here but they all look the same to me!

thanks tons pleased we wont have to change his name, how can you tell? Is it just the length of his tail?

i think tail for it size is a little bit long to be a girl. Others may feel different but wait and see first.

There is a post, from EgyptianDan I think, somewhere on here (I've looked and I can't find it now) and he said that if there's a indent from the femoral to the anal scutes, as Alfred has, then this is most likely a male, in females there would be a smooth transition between the scutes.

My 2 are definitely a boy and a girl and they did / do match this description, but being a lot older now, there's a big difference in the size of their tails too now - although my female has always had a very short tail even when she was small.

So, I'm guessing Alfred is a little boy too.
