Default More hibernation questions

Sorry guys, it's our first year and so far all is well but I keep having questions. Thanks in advance this site is so helpful.
My two are sound asleep in their outside shed and I am managing temps well. They are not yet in their box as I was going to do this today however the weather is forecast to be 12 degrees tomorrow and I would hate for them to wake. I thought I should hold fire on putting them in the boxes until Saturday when it's colder again. Any thoughts?
Try are currently in their hide in a towel until I box them up.

Many thanks
Sandra.

If they are fast asleep and safe leave them where they are i have a few outside at the moment and they will stay there for a bit longer

Thanks Gordon that's great, hopefully the 12 degrees wont be warm enough to wake them.

Throw something heavy over the top, like a blanket or carpet. This will keep the cold temp in. Until you are ready to box them up:0)

Oh no! George has woken up, Shelly still sound asleep. I gave George a quick cold bath and popped him back in the shed. I hope he goes back to sleep. It's 13 degrees outside and 11 in the shed. I have popped some frozen water bottles in there to hopefully cool it down a bit 😩

sandy, their little shed (it's act a mobility scooter shed) is fully insulated with that silver bubble wrap type. we have now added some on the outside of the roof to reflect the nasty sun! 😊 thanks for the advice x

Don't panic if the temps go up its a natural thing for them to move just leave him where he is and as the temps go back down he will settle

If the temps were 13 outside and 11 in the shed, I think that's not too bad.

it fluctuated between 10.6 to 11.1 in my torts sheds and to me that's good enough to put them in their hibernation boxes then in the fridge, one of them moved but they do move around in hibernation anyway, well mine do x
