Darren has obviously found the magic formula for red hatching.
And most tortoise speices his keeps.

they look great, i'm really pleased for you.

after a word with the owner of the redfoots that supplied us with the eggs, all the people she's given eggs to have had no luck this year. out of the 9 we have, 2 went stinky, and my other half called my office today, she said that "the smell is back!"

this means another is rotten.

well i suppose if none are fertile, .. all i'm doing is slow cooking them >! but having said that, we've also got one egg from a different mother which is veiny and looking quite positive, we'll find out soon!
