Should I breed my Ibera?
I have a female Ibera and I don't now hold old she is excatly but she is now almost 18 cm long and 723g. But she is still growing a little bit. Should I breed her this spring? I would really love to rear some hatchlings.

Have you measured her correctly? For an ibera of that size she is very underweight.
Heres the correct way to measure: http://forums.shelledwarriors.co.uk/...ight=measuring

before deciding to breed from any tort please consider that you have to find good homes for these babies there are only so many that you can keep and quite a few on the market, also the cost in vet bills if your tort has to be x rayed or induced, and if you don't have a male and decide to get one that it may have to be kept separate from the female.

The 20cm has only made it worse Judy. If your scale is right, she is over 1,000g underweight. She should be around 1,745g. Does she feel heavy/solid or like air when you pick her up?

Ahhh! I don't know what I'd do if I lost her. She doesn't feel really heavy but not airy light either. The last time I took her too the vets she was fine even the vet said so. How can I help her gain weight? She is still eating, active and basking ect. Also she has had a little bit of clear mucas coming out of her nose when I mesured her. Please help.I'm so worried.
