I don't know but they are not always self employed, sometimes it's like sub contracting. I had something delivered last week by a guy in a BMW and it was meant to be coming by a firm whose name I have forgotten but who have delivered to me before with their company name on the van

I wouldn't be surprised, had a right faff when my buzzer was broken (found out after ordering stuff) they refused to call to let me know they were there (even though I promised I wouldn't answer call so it wouldn't cost them) they kept telling me to watch for them, they had no answer when I pointed out I was 3 floors up and faced the back and that I had been leaving door open but its a communal stair so I can't stop people closing it! They weren't even leaving cards so i have no idea if they were even trying! Was a nightmare!!
Had a British Gas man not show up but claim no one was in, buzzer was working my sister was in with me and my dog goes demented when the buzzer goes and he was still insisting he had been, no way he had! |

I've had it loads of times, sometimes by Royal Mail too. If it's a small packet my normal postie is brilliant but otherwise, forget it. Drives me bloody nuts, epecially if you've been waiting in all day especially Fair play to you for confronting him Wendy.

We had 4 sacks of parrot seed delivered, stinking of wine. The driver said it happened at the depot,he was very sorry and waited while i phoned the supplier and he told the supplier what had happened that a box of wine had leaked when loading, the supplier said he would claim on insurance and not to send the sacks back so we kept them to feed the ducks and geese at our local lake.
