Hi Jeff,
These are the 3rd batch of young that i have hatched in the last 5 yrs - had a couple of bad years where no young hatched, but this year i've managed to hatch 11 out of 12 eggs.

Antony how big are they weights etc sorry for all the questions i'm just really interested in them.

Darren,
They weigh between 35 and 42g each and are all approx 2" across the bottom of the shells

Duh!!!!!!
Mom weighs approx 1.85 Kg and Dad is approx 1.5kg as for the sizes i'll have to get back to you on that - its a bit dark in my greenhouse for measuring them tonight

The holes were often drilled into torts back in the years when torts were 50p in shops. People would drill a hole like that and then tie string through it so the tort couldn't escape.

yes he does by the looks of it probly not done by antony ...
as these are old timers i think and yrs ago ppl
used to drill holes in them so they could tie them up so there didnt wonder off
so glad this has changed
