Default Anyone suggest a good care book??

Hi again,

As you may have read my other thread I've just got my new Ibera. I'm quite panicy about him so would like to invest in a good book that i can get out whenever I need reassurance. You may said I should have done this already, you are right. I thought with the back of this site I'd be Ok, however, I'm spending more time putting on the pc to come on than I do with my son!! Not good.

So a good med tortoise book I can pick up again and again please??

Thank you x

This pretty much covers the Med tortoises. It was written to keep it simple and to answer most of the basic questions for the new keeper.

Thanks Ed,

I did look at that one but wasn't sure if the specific care of Horsfield's would transfer to Ibera's. I might well get that one then.

Thanks again x

The title is actually Russian tortoises... and other Testudo. It is not really a species specifig book. It was more intended for Med tortoises in general.

I've only written 2 books (Leopards/Sulcata and Russian/Med. tortoises) and about 15 magazine articles (mostly for Reptiles magazine).
