Hi I am Pat I have a tortoise called shelly, we have had her for 30 years..she is not well at the moment and is on antibiotics, she has been on them for 2 weeks and she went to our vet Mike jessop last night and has another 2 weeks of tablets..she was whistling and had a chest infection but is better but seems to be still having problems next step an x-ray..he thinks it might be her ovaries..fingers crossed it isnt..we had an x-ray done 10years ago and it cost us 200 pounds..hate to think how much it costs today..but when needs must we dig deep..

Can I just say what a lovely informative site this is..
