Hi Peter

Yes some keepers spray the soil so it does not get too dusty in enclosures.
As for poos well you might have to bathe at least twice a day for a week to get them coming<g>. They should be hard and black.

dont worry too much about poo yet, its early days, its usually dark slim looking, i think its a bit like rat poos but bigger
