Default Tortoise Beak

Hi me lookin for help yet again haha. Ive been watching my little leopard tortoise and it seems like his beak might be a little long. I have been comparing it to some pics of other tortoises on here and it looks kinda long. Sometimes the bottom of the beak seems to catch the tip of the top one . But on to my real question is there a way that i could maybe file it down a little or should i leave that to a vet?

Personally I would leave it a while as you have not had the tort long, you could try feeding of a slate for a while this will help to wear the beak down a bit.
