Stolen, small chance.
I visit a tortoise sanctuary in spain every year. I'm only back and was sad to learn that their two Adult pair of Sulcatas were stolen and three Adult leopards last April.
These Sulcatas are very big and of a orange colour, not like the common colour. They each had a tether hole drilled into the back flare on their carapace which was used to tether them in their previous life in Africa before the Sanctuary got them 17 years ago from spanish customs. It's most likely these were stolen to order but just in the small chance someone comes across these or see's an advert through different channels I'd appreciate the tip off and I'll notify the sanctuary. The leopards would be more difficult to identilfy but the sulcatas are pretty unique with their size, colours and holes so would be easily identified. Here's a link to another post about the sanctuary, check out this wonderful place. http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=50537 Here's a link to the sanctuary website. http://www.tortugues.cat/ Cheers Mick.
