Tortoise Twitches.
Hey guys, Sorry I seem to be spamming this forum right now but I get worried I'm doing things wrong a lot, :/
Just a quick question this time, Phillip has been twitching a lot recently as I just noticed when hes relaxing under his lamp, is this normal? or should I be concerned? |

You possibly mean the breathing action at rest? (their arms rhythmically move in & out?) If so, nothing to worry about its perfectly normal

Oh that used to freak me right out! I thought Darwin was ill.
We all need to learn, it's better to ask than panic! xx

I've noticed both steady rhythmic breathing and sudden twitching with mine. The twitching is mostly the head as if the tort was frightened by something although nothing happened to frighten it. Its one of those things that you notice occasionally but in my case never ask about!

By the way Pop, we like questions here. You do everyone a good turn by asking them!
