1st Leopard tortoise hatches.
So this little guy hatched yesterday, it's our first Leopard hatchling. Not sure about the rest off the eggs, we weren't expecting any from this clutch so there's hope for the rest.
Anyway, it flawless and absorbed all it's yolksack now so should start eating soon.

Beautiful exotic looking creature, always reminds me of something the ancient Egyptians would have, because of their Hieroglyphic-like markings.
Did I read the date correctly, 3rd Jan 2013 - five months incubation? I was getting excitable and impatient at my med hatchlings taking 65 days! Congratulations. karen
