Default A sneaky peek

A sneaky peek of and a sneaky peek from one of my new turtles.

Has anyone "spotted" the clue yet?

Stephen said it was a spotted turtle, once he'd "spotted" it! - then I showed him Paul's cryptic clue!

"Spotters" badges all round then. They are indeed Clemmys Guttata, the spotted turtle. Managed to get a few snaps this morning of one out and about.

Very nice David,
I think I have pic's of Linda and Dave's adults, the parents of these lovely young ones. Those books by David Carroll, seem to have really fired up your interest in the Turtles of the USA, what with, first Box Turtles, then Mud's now Spotted's. I expect Painted's are soon to join the group.
I wonder how many other UK hobbyists are currently reading these marvellous book's and learning to admire the diverse Turtle Species of the Eastern USA?

Yeah! Painteds, musks and a big old snapper. I could build a swamp in the garden.
