Enjoyed seeing the torts in there.

What have the temperatures been like with the last 2 days of heat. (I had to come in from the garden it was so hot)!
Thank you

Can I ask what substrate you put down please? I'm just sorting my Tort Shed and have debated top soil/coco coir mix for Sulcata.

I have found a mix of coco coir and topsoil works well for keeping moisture.
I am in process of painting shed exterior.

yes I wondered that Jan. the greenhouse can get to 52 degrees and still some of mine will sit in it and I never interfere but then worry about some of mine evening time in 32 degree heat in the conservatory for keeping them overnight. There are such wild differences, CB

ok a few changes since my last update. I've decided to paint shed. I've decided to use a colour that I wouldn't normally use. Electrics are in also. I'm going to put white trims in window and will be putting a way of getting and out of shed.

super job !! lovely area and environment for your tortoises ! I would say it is like the blue and gold , white and gold dress question that went viral....soooo in the shed I know you have a safety walk in all at ground level with a brick wall so the torts are unable to come right up to the door ! I know that !!! but every time I look at you photos I see the dirt area on a second level !! like up a step ! I know what you've done but my brain wont compute it !! is that gold and white or blue and white...! CB

When I first saw the layout before the soil went in I thought of the same thing and it wasn't until I realised the upper bit wasn't a path but the area for the torts, that I felt stupid as you'd have to be pretty vertically challenged to walk along the top level!
Super job though. No wonder I leave this sort of stuff to my hubby!

That's one of the best tortoise projects I've seen on here, brilliant. Love the blue paint work.
