Today has been lovely in Wiltshire and I even sat in the garden this afternoon with a cup of tea! All the snowdrops are coming out so hopefully spring is just around the corner.

Yes pretty settled in now thank you Sandy and believe it or not we have been here nearly two years! Finally got a greenhouse yesterday after a very long wait which will be useful soon when the torts start waking up.

That time has passed so quickly, I had not realised it was that long:0)
The GH will help with torts and plants:0)

Spoke too soon about spring arriving as we had a really hard frost last night together with fog. The sun is out now but it is very cold still. Looking forward to planting some seeds soon. Hope it's warmed up for your daughter in the South of France. Have you managed to visit lately or is travel still difficult?

Joanne managed to get over at Christmas, having to change flights to before the French stopping them coming over. It made my Christmas. The children are growing so fast. They have temps nearly the same as us at night, but they do have the sun in the afternoon. I still cant go out as the French have still closed their borders.
How is your son in Japan doing?

We had to suffer through a couple months of grey, overcast days with no sun, but finally a couple weeks ago the sun was able to burn all that grey away and we've had just beautiful weather. 16'sC during the day and 4'sC at night (I hope I did the conversion correctly, I'm not a celcius person!)

Really glad you were able to have a family get together as facetime is great but not the same as having real contact. Neil hasn't been over for over 3 years now and guess it will be quite a while before he makes it as although he could fly here he probably wouldn't be able to get back in! Seems to be alright out there and they have all had their jabs now so fingers crossed it stays that way. The Japanese are great mask wearers which must help.
