I'm in love! Yes he is certainly adorable and I can see why he has a special place on your bed. So pleased for you.

We lost our dog last year and I do miss her and not having one too. Although my husband was very strict (knowing what a softie I am) so no visits to the bedroom allowed!

Glad to hear Hazel is still with you, I thought she might have passed away. I'm sure they will get used to each other soon.

Hazel ignores Ted most of the time, she's had a sniff of his ears when he's asleep, a couple of growls at him, but she's been a very good girl, Ted has growled and barked at her...but behind the safety gate lol x

Yes he sleeps in his crate (closed) at night, and I put the crate in his playpen during the day, training him to be happy in his pen when I'm not around, it's hard work and I'm knackered but its worth it x

I love crate training. Try the cheese exercise Bev. slice a tiny bit of cheese, get Ted to sniff and then hide the cheese. Go find Ted you say ! but direct him to the cheese so he associates cheese with 'find'. Then hide cheese somewhere in garden or house and go read a paper while he whiles away the time finding !...is the principle....hours of blissful rest and really knackers them out. also reinforces positive behaviour. I use it to track down tortoises in the garden sometimes, where lost. The tortoise reference is 'joey' and I say go find Joey and bobs your uncle ! but of course do not practice this at home is the message. My dogs don't do chews they have carrots - saved thousands over the years. he is sooooo adorable. I am so jealous. CB

postnote - sorry brothers dog is Ted ! and my fish named ED . love the name Teddy.
