Default Urgent help please!!!

I have just come home from work to find my hermanns hatchling upside down in the water bowl! I dont know how long he had been like it...he wasnt moving at all. I picked him up and put him the right way up. He starting walking around straight away and I put some food in and he is eating but Im worried about him now....will he have brain damage or something?? Im scared to let him go to bed tonight incase he dies....advice please....

hi i find my hatchling leopards like this all the time normally they poo over themselves as well ,please try not to worry too much maybe i have been lucky so far but mine is still active and eating well.

Thanks for the reply I cant help but worry...they are my babies. I have been looking a little at the water bowl and I dont actually think the water was deep enough to cover his nares. I have never found him upside down before and I dont kno9w how he managed it....

Mine sometimes do this as well, dont worry about him not moving he would have given up trying to get himself right.

All pretty normal I would say, torts turn over all the time. Just keep him well hydrated and I
am sure he will be ok.

I hope your little one will be ok - I'm sure like the others said he will be fine - i dont think he would eat if he was stressed.

Just an update to say that Sheldon does not seem to have suffered any ill effects from his experience...so it seems that thwe only one bothered by it was me lol.
