Hi from a newcomer
Hi All
I'm Tony and my wife is Maureen. We have two dogs a cat and a tortoise, all pets for the kids who have long since grown up and flown the nest but we get to keep the animals! The tort is called Eric and is a TG Ibera. She is about 60 to 70 years old and we have had her for 27 years (we only found out she was a female about 10 years ago). I only started to get interested a couple of years ago mainly because I was forever being called on to reorganise or relocate her compound. Started researching stuff on the net and recently found this site. Seems like you are all enthusiastic and nice people and this looks like a good site. I'm not used to chat forums but I'll do my best. Bye for now Tony ps this is Eric |

Hi Tony,
Welcome to the forum. I think Eric is lovely (and the rest of your 'team' look great too - have seen the pics in the other section). I think it's a real honour to be the keeper of a tortoise of that age. |

my god how long have you had her?! How lovely our neighbour has had a tortoise for a while it's about the same age but a Hermann - your tortoise looks very happy covered in soil lol! I suspect the holes dug are of a rather larger nature!
