4 week old egg
As you already know i have an egg, that developed an air bubble within 10 days of been laid, however i have kept with the egg, just in case there is a chance that it could be fertile, the contents of the egg has changed , the yolk has settled to the bottom, but i have read this indictaes an infertile egg, my torch is not very strong, however there are times i see a blob and others i think no, could it be possible that this egg is viable

Are you checking in a darkened room? Also dont forget, keep the egg in the same position and dont turn it.

Hi Chloe, I have Gertie's 4 eggs at a steady 30 deg. Been like it for 6 days and I (she) too has anair bubble at the top. I know it's very early days. But I think you have to stick with it...

How old is your eggs now?
I can see a bit of dark spot, but i would have thought by this time of the development i would see veins aswell, but i am not using a very strong torch, the yolk has settled at the bottom that is very clear, but i believe the yolk will settle when the egg is unfertile aswell. |
