im sure it would be fine for them, its like them being out side in the real sun (ov not as good) but aslong as they have some where to get out of the light and heat im sure theres nothing to worry about

I have a Megaray wih my little Star, so long as you have places where they can hide, as little babies they would hide in the wild, they will come out and bask as and when they want to.

Stars are lovers of bright light babies also they adore high UVB output so Mega ray/trex are ideal, but please make sure there are enough areas to get out of bright light and also use a humid hide or spray substrate liberally daily.stars dont fair well in complete dry environments but also enjoy especially as babies some degree of humidity as they are very prone to dehydration which can cause bladder stones
